Kigali in a Day

Almost every Rwandan journey begins and ends in Kigali, and the city deserves far more than a transfer. This full day covers what matters: the Genocide Memorial with a guide who explains rather than recites, lunch at a mille collines viewpoint, the Nyamirambo women's centre walking tour through the city's most characterful quarter, and a finish at a craft coffee roastery.

It runs as a small shared group (never more than eight) and works equally well as a first day — the memorial gives every later stop in Rwanda its context — or as a last one before an evening flight.
